Santiago Villazon, MD

Education

Dr. Villazon graduated cum laude from Yale College, and went on to Yale University Medical School, where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency training in ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine. He is one of the most experienced surgeons in the Greater Boston area, having completed nearly 30,000 refractive procedures. Dr. Villazon is also an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Boston University School of Medicine, and an Affiliated Professor at the New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Villazon has been in the Cornea/Cataract Service at the VA Boston Healthcare System for over 20 years, performing cataract surgery for our nation's veterans.
