Comprehensive Optometry exams including contact lens’ fittings and dry eye treatment
Dr. Glenda Savitz is a third-generation optometrist. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles. She decided to combine her passion for helping people and love for science and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry. She went on to complete an Ocular Disease Residency with the Boston Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. She conducted clinical research through the National Institute of Health at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Savitz has been in practice for over 10 years and makes it a priority to stay up to date with the latest technology in eye care in order to provide the most accurate exams. She focuses on comprehensive eye care, contact lens evaluations, with a special interest in dry eyes.
She resides in Newton with her husband and 2 children and enjoys hiking and spending time on the Charles River.
